BEGINNERS COURSE

    JOG FOR 30 MINUTES WITHOUT STOPPING…

    The course is designed for beginners - all of you who wish you could jog/run but don’t know how to get started or need help getting motivated to start running. You should already be able to walk briskly for 30 mins at least 3 times per week.

    You will need to commit to doing 3 sessions per week as per the programme (a mixture of walking & gentle jogging). The first session of each week will be with me, and so will the final 30 minute jog/run. In addition to the runs, I will teach you how to warm up, cool down, stretch and provide weekly information on running & nutrition.

    Courses are run from Garston Park or Cassiobury Park. Allow approx 1 – 1¼ hrs for each session

    IMPROVERS COURSE

    JOG FOR 60 MINUTES WITHOUT STOPPING…

    This is a structured progressive course, which will prepare you to run/jog for 60 mins. You must already be capable of jogging 30 mins without stopping (speed not important).

    You will need to commit to running 3 sessions per week as per the programme (a mixture of walking & running). The first session of each week will be with me, and so will the final 60 minute run. This course is good preparation for anyone wishing to progress from a 5K to a 10K distance, perhaps even to enter 10K charity runs. The sessions are designed to increase speed as well as endurance.
